BHP Orange Run

Hey guys, exFCI brought to my attention this interesting run, to be held on 15th April, at the Curve. (not FF Curve, but outdoors). It's only 9km and I'm really keen, but not keen to run alone. Any takers? Lionheart? How about it? We are in our own category wor, 40 and above. Who knows, maybe only 10 contestants in that category, so we can all win prizes. Also, I don't want to run alone, in case I collapse and get stampeded upon by thousands of strangers, with no one to identify my remains after. Choi choi tai kar lai see.

Anyway, for more information, click here. Twill be fun. I am starting ahem, my "training" today. As in running in lake gardens la.

My friend ran the men's veteran category before. He said it was very competitive coz there are many sprinters running.

With such good prizes there should be a good turnout of runners looking to "cari makan"

I might join you, for fun only la, i am not a fast runner.

If I joined you, I'd probably end up walking 8.9 of the 9 km. I can sprint for 100m, then pancit.

Shades..yah...reality struck the other day, when I was the only one singing (or shouting to be exact) the Nirvana and the Boney M tracks...so lau liau...

FBB..have you ever seen a whale trying to run? Thats me lah...cannot run one. Used to be able to but not with my knees, or not for that distance.

Sorry la, but the whole running long distance (anything more than 100m) just doesn't appeal to me. I love speed...can sprint, but cannot endure, fit or not. Besides, you weren't the only one who pigged out during CNY, you know? Oh, didn't know that Nirvava and Boney M is "your age group"...thought it appeals to "my age group", i.e "shades age group" too.

Meenachi...based on your comments, I think "your age group" and "our age group" shud b quite near loh hor? Nirvana definitely shud appeal to all of us as they came out in the late 80s to early 90s. Boney M? For you? 70s wor??? My daddy in law always sing to "Hooray Hooray Its a Holi-holi-day"...
